Raw Heather Honey
Our heather honey is one of nature’s treasures. Harvested in the autumn of 2024 from wild Lithuanian heathlands and forest clearings, it captures the essence of the season when the air is heavy with the scent of late-blooming flowers. We keep it completely natural – unfiltered, unpasteurised, and GMO-free – so it arrives to you just as the bees created it.
Heather honey has a character all of its own. The taste is rich and bold, with a pleasant bitterness that gives way to warm, malty undertones and subtle hints of spice. It’s complex, full-bodied, and lingers on the palate, making it a favourite for those who like their honey with depth.
The aroma is unmistakable: strong floral notes layered with wild herbs and a touch of earthiness, reminiscent of walking through heathlands in the fading light of autumn. Its colour shines deep amber with a reddish hue, and the naturally thick, jelly-like texture is both unique and indulgent.
This honey is often called the connoisseur’s choice – not only because of its flavour but also because it’s rich in natural enzymes, proteins, and antioxidants. It pairs beautifully with cheeses, yogurt, and fresh bread, or can be savoured by the spoonful as a wholesome treat.
Baltic Nectar’s raw heather honey is more than just a sweetener – it’s a taste of Lithuania’s autumn landscape, a rare and memorable honey for those who appreciate the finest nature has to offer.

Enjoy honey the way it’s meant to be—free from artificial additives, unprocessed, and packed with nutrients. Our honey is raw and unpasteurised, preserving its natural enzymes and antioxidants for maximum wellness benefits. The composition of honey is always unique, as it depends on the blooming of various plants, but its key components include Vitamins (B, C, and K), Carotene, Folic acid, Minerals (Iodine, Manganese, Phosphorus), Phytoncides, Saponins, and Essential oils. By avoiding filtration and pasteurisation, our honey may naturally contain macro particles of pollen, wax, and propolis. Our products are lab-tested to meet raw product standards and are guaranteed to be free from GMOs. - 100% Natural
It’s normal for raw honey to crystallise over time, developing a creamy or grainy texture. Frosting may also appear as small white marks caused by trapped air bubbles. These are natural characteristics of unprocessed honey and don’t affect its quality or taste. Once crystallised, honey becomes denser and lighter in colour, ranging from sunny yellow to creamy brown, like coffee with milk. The crystallisation time depends on the nectar composition, with higher fructose content leading to faster crystallisation (from two weeks to six months). - Care Storage and Recommendation
To keep your honey at its best, store it in a cool, dry, and dark place (0°C–20°C), ensuring the lid is tightly closed. This helps prevent moisture and preserves the honey’s rich flavour and texture. For optimal use, adults can enjoy 100–150 grams of pure honey daily, provided there are no contraindications. Children over three years old can enjoy this natural treat by mixing it into tea, water, fruits, or porridge. However, those with known allergies or specific medical conditions should consult a doctor before consuming.
